Money Desk is a news aggregation site. It does not ask you to register, has no user accounts, and does not collect personal information directly. This page explains the data that is processed when you visit.
What this site stores
The site keeps one shared copy of the current news snapshot — headlines, sources, timestamps, summaries, links and market quotes — in a key-value store. That snapshot contains no information about visitors. It is overwritten every hour.
We do not operate a database of users. There are no accounts, no newsletters, no comments and no forms, so there is nothing for you to have given us.
Log data
The site is served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare records standard request logs — your IP address, browser type, referring page and the time of the request — for security and abuse prevention. That processing is carried out by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy, not by us, and we do not have access to those logs.
Cookies and advertising
This site uses Google AdSense to show advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. These are third-party cookies set by Google, not by us, and we do not read them.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies through the Digital Advertising Alliance and, for European visitors, Your Online Choices. Most browsers additionally let you block third-party cookies entirely, which will not stop this site working.
Images
Photographs shown alongside stories are retrieved from the publisher's own image servers through a proxy on this site, resized for display, and attributed to the story they accompany. No image is stored permanently.
Children
This site is a general-audience financial news desk. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is usually nothing to access, correct or delete. Where a right applies to data processed by Cloudflare or Google, it must be exercised with them directly.
